The Udupi BJP is preparing for the CM's programmes on November 7.

Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak, president of the Udupi district BJP, said on Thursday that the party is preparing for two major events in the district on November 7 in honour of Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai.


Over 20,000 people, including beneficiaries of various government schemes,


are expected to attend the Jana Sankalpa Samavesha at 10.30 a.m. near Kaup bus stand.


The Chief Minister will lay foundation stones for projects worth Rs. 1,318 crore, inaugurate some completed projects, and address beneficiaries


of government schemes at the Beneficiaries Meet in Mullikatte in Byndoor Assembly Constituency at 4 p.m.


 Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has confirmed that he will attend both events.


Mr. Bommai will visit the district and demand the formation of a milk producers union for the Udupi district by carving it out of the Dakshina Kannada Milk Union Limited.
