According to a report by Pakistan’s Geo TV, Pervez Musharraf’s name also came up in the Panama Papers leak case and there were allegations that Pervez Musharraf had sent billions of rupees outside the country through offshore accounts. According to the report, Pervez Musharraf had cash of about two billion Pakistani rupees in his offshore bank accounts.

Apart from this, movable and immovable property was separate. According to the affidavit given to the Election Commission, Musharraf’s assets included 1.96 million shares of Bank Al-Falah, 170 gold jewelery items, furniture worth Rs 60 lakh and other items worth Rs 80 lakh.

Musharraf made immense wealth

In his book, Musharraf had admitted that he was from a simple family and his family did not have much money, but in the book he claimed that he used to pay a salary of Rs 5 lakh every month to his servants. According to Celebrity Net Worth, in the year 2022, Musharraf’s total assets were $ 2 million i.e. around 55 crore Pakistani rupees.

Pervez Musharraf’s family, born in New Delhi, shifted to Karachi in Pakistan after the partition of India and Pakistan. He was the President of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008. He was convicted of treason by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. After this, on medical grounds, he moved to Dubai in 2016 and since then he was living in Dubai.
