Joe Biden On Putin Arrest Warrant: An arrest warrant has been issued against Russian President Vladimir Putin by the International Criminal Court (ICC). Putin has been accused that thousands of children of Ukraine had to be deported because of Russia’s attack.
In response to a question from journalists on the matter related to the arrest of the President of Russia, US President Joe Biden said that Russian President Vladimir Putin has committed war crimes. However, Russia has outright rejected the allegations against President Putin.
Right decision to issue arrest warrant
At the same time, it is not clear on the arrest warrant issued for the President of Russia whether it is the result of Russia not joining the International Criminal Court (ICC) as a member. On this, Russian spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that apart from Russia, there are many different countries in the world, which do not recognize the jurisdiction of this court, so legally, this decision of the court is valid.
On the other hand, Ukraine has claimed that more than 16,000 Ukrainian children have been sent to Russia since the Russian invasion. US President Joe Biden said that Putin has invaded one of the 120 countries involved in the ICC, hence an arrest warrant has been issued against him. I think the decision to issue warrant of arrest against him was correct.

arrest warrant based on forensic evidence
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said about the arrest that this is a historic decision, from which historical responsibility will begin. At the same time, according to the report of AFP, ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan said that the arrest warrant has been determined on the basis of forensic evidence, investigation and statement of two persons. Karim Khan said that the evidence we presented focused on crimes against children.
Children are the weakest part of our society. Ukraine’s allies from the West also hailed the move, welcoming Britain’s decision, while the European Union said the warrant was just the beginning.
