Pakistan PTI Want Date And Time: Political turmoil is at its peak in Pakistan. On the other hand, amid the ongoing tussle between Imran Khan and the current government, Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) on Friday (March 17) has requested the coalition government to give a date and place for the meeting. So that both the politicians can sit and talk among themselves.
The top regulatory body of lawyers said that Imran Khan is ready to mediate between the government and the opposition. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary said in a Twitter post that Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar was sitting together every day giving statements to resolve issues and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also asked for talks.
Imran Khan is already in favor of talks
Fawad Chaudhary said that he should go ahead with the statements being given regarding the talks and fix a date and place for both the political parties to meet, because Imran Khan has already been in favor of talks.
This statement of Fawad Chaudhary came a day after PTI President Imran Khan talked about reconciliation with the government. Imran Khan had said that he is ready to talk to anyone and make any sacrifice for the country. I will not back down from any sacrifice for the development, interest and democracy of Pakistan. In this regard, I am ready to talk to anyone and take every step in this direction.
Political forces have to sit together
Imran Khan had also made a tweet regarding talks with the government. Khan’s tweet came a day after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday (March 15) asserted that all political forces have to sit together to take the country forward. Two days later, while speaking outside the Lahore High Court, Fawad Chaudhary talked about calling for the date and place of the meeting.
Addressing Prime Minister and Law Minister Tarar, Fawad Chaudhary said that you are making a statement, so you should go ahead with it. Whatever place you decide and if someone invites you, we are ready for it.
The last time talks of all parties coming together came to the fore when the Prime Minister called an All Parties Conference (APC) in February and invited the country’s political leadership, including the PTI chief, to discuss ways to deal with the challenges ahead. Can be done
