Nepal Plane Crash: Yeti airline flight ATR-72 flying from Kathmandu, Nepal crashed on Sunday (January 15) at a distance of 10 seconds from Pokhara International Airport. There were a total of 72 passengers including 68 passengers and four crew members in this aircraft.
5 passengers from India were involved in this accident in Nepal. According to Yeti Airlines officials, apart from the passengers of India, there were 4 Russians, 2 South Koreans, 1 Argentine, 1 Australian, 1 French and 1 Irish citizens on board the plane.
Although the rescue operation is still going on at the crash site. A total of 68 dead bodies have been recovered in this operation till the news is written. At the same time, many leaders of the world, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, have expressed grief over this tragic accident.

According to the video going viral on social media, this plane crashed when it was trying to land. Some experts say that this fault in this aircraft has come due to technical reasons, while some experts say that due to weather and many geographical technical problems, the crash landing of this aircraft happened, due to which this accident happened.
First plane crash is not in Nepal
If we look at the history of Nepal, this is not the first time such an incident has happened in Nepal. Even before this, plane accidents have happened in Nepal in which passengers lost their lives. According to the report, there have been 96 air accidents in Nepal in the last 70 years and these accidents have been attributed to technical fault.
From 1946 till date, more than 800 people have died in plane accidents in Nepal. On May 7, 1946, the first plane crash happened in Britain’s Royal Force in which 14 soldiers lost their lives.
